Looking For the Perfect Work-at-Home Career?
The Virtual Assistant industry continues to be a top choice for entrepreneurs, military spouses, and those looking for a portable career and want to be their own boss.
In this quick read, I answer the questions you want to know:
Here are just a few of the reasons why I LOVE being a Virtual Assistant and why it's a great career choice for ANYONE who wants to work at home:
You've seen the commercials and have been warned of the work-at-home scams, and now are convinced that you can't possibly work at home and earn a good, honest living. But I'm here to tell you that I not only have built a career around a flexible schedule, but some earn more working part time than they did working full-time. What is this wonder job? It's called a "Virtual Assistant" and it has proved to be the perfect career for those who want to work at home.
Back when I launched my VA business in 2005, there were a few industries that used virtual assistants, such as real estate professionals, consultants, and a few coaches. Virtual assistants did a lot of "generalist" tasks such as calendaring/scheduling, word processing, PowerPoint presentations, proofreading/editing - many of the types of tasks that you learned on the job working in an office. And then there were those who had specialties, such as graphic design, bookkeeping, and website maintenance. Things have changed over the past few years! Due to the popularity of outsourcing and advances in technology, there are dozens of virtual assistant specialties working in a variety of niches - many of them relatively new. Not only will you find generalists, real estate VAs, marketing support (tech VAs), but there is a plethora of social media managers, podcast administrators, even video VAs cropping up! You can turn your narrow skillset into a full-time job or work within an industry doing a variety of tasks. If this sounds like something you want to do, then I invite you to download my free report, "Exploring Virtual Assistance as a Career." In this report, I explain the various types of virtual assistant services, how much money you can expect to charge, and a sampling of different training programs available. I'll also share additional "insider information" from someone who has been doing this for over five years. Enter your name and email below and I'll send you this free information immediately (even if it's 2 am on a Sunday morning!)
